Mid Autumn Festival

I bought 10 boxes of mooncakes from Shangri-la, costs about $315, after 25% discount to distribute to my staffs. Its snow skin flavours comprises durian, chocolate truffle, XO cognac, bird nest, green tea and white lian rong. I love the durian the most, followed by the XO cognac, the rest were good too.

When I bought @ the hotel lobby, the service staffs were very friendly and helpful, so I am thinking of going there for lunch or something coming Monday.

In terms of overall flavour and presentation, I still prefer Raffles Hotel mooncakes, which has got no discount, except that if we order 200 boxes, there will be 12%. (Updates: UOB Card has 15% discount) This implies how popular their snow skin mooncakes are! Especially the chocolate truffle. Die die must try!

I am still waiting for my partner to deliver mine. She was very kind to bought us one box each year, and I am looking forward to it. ;)

The Raffles Hotel ones deserve more coverage in writing.

Stay tuned!

I had passed by Raffles Hotel last week and sampled some of their mooncakes. Very nice indeed. I was told that that day was their last day of promotion. ;)

Really? Too bad. :( Good products normally don't have 'offers'.
